When you start having
When you start having symptoms such as – fast breathing, lack of mental concentration, restlessness, hunger, palpitation, restlessness, convulsive stupors, etc – then you just might have low blood sugar levels. See your doctor immediately. Remember- a stitch in time saves nine. No matter how much you love sugar, it’s time to give it up, as a diabetic patient. You can however replace your love for sugar with honey. It’s also sweet as sugar but doesn’t contain the harmful properties of sugar for diabetic patients. I don’t care how busy you can get, don’t succumb to the temptation of eating junk foods and starch. Instead, take the time out each day to eat very good and balanced diet. Also, don’t forget the importance of taking fruits as well as vegetables. Doing these consistently can help to keep your diabetes under control. I wonder why diabetic patients worry themselves to death because they are asked to engage in exercise, diet and weight loss all through their lives. With or without diabetes, these three actions can keep you healthier and make you live longer. So, why shouldn’t we all want to do these three things – whether we have diabetes or not? As a diabetic patient, it’s time to either drastically reduce your alcohol intake or completely stop it. This is not the time for overindulgence in alcohol but a time to keep firm control of your habits, if you really want to live long and healthy, despite having diabetes.
